VerifyBuddy provides email verification services via a web dashboard, REST API, embeddable widget, and Chrome extension. Verification is performed using our 7-layer engine including syntax, MX/DNS, SMTP probing, and scoring.
You agree not to use VerifyBuddy to: send spam, probe networks for vulnerabilities, verify emails for the purpose of harassment, or exceed your plan rate limits via circumvention. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Credits are consumed per fresh email verification. Cached results (within 24h) and suppressed emails are free. Unused credits roll over per your plan percentage. Refunds are handled per our refund policy (contact support within 7 days).
API access is governed by your plan rate limits. Exceeding limits results in 429 responses. API keys should be kept confidential. We are not responsible for charges incurred from leaked API keys.
You retain ownership of all email lists and verification data you submit. We do not claim ownership of your data. Upon account deletion, all your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
We target 99.9% uptime for our API. Planned maintenance is announced via email. Enterprise plans include SLA guarantees.
VerifyBuddy provides verification results on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy. We are not liable for email delivery failures based on our verification results.
