VerifyBuddy exists to improve the quality of permission-based email programmes. This policy defines what you may and may not do with the service. Violations may result in suspension or termination.
You may only verify email addresses that you have collected lawfully and have a legitimate reason to contact. Do not use VerifyBuddy to validate scraped, harvested, purchased-without-consent, or stolen lists.
You must not use VerifyBuddy in connection with unsolicited bulk email (spam), phishing, harassment, fraud, or any deceptive or illegal messaging. Your email programme must comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL and other applicable laws.
You must not use the service to probe, scan, or map networks for vulnerabilities, to enumerate mailboxes for malicious purposes, or to circumvent rate limits, credit systems, or fair-use protections.
Unlimited plans are intended for genuine verification workloads. Automated abuse, resale of raw verification as a competing service, or activity designed to degrade the platform for others is prohibited and may be rate-limited or suspended.
VerifyBuddy checks mailbox existence up to the SMTP RCPT stage only and never delivers a message. Sending email to verified addresses — and doing so lawfully — is entirely your responsibility.
We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy, with or without notice. Report abuse to abuse@verifybuddy.xyz.
