Disclaimer

Last updated: July 2026

The information and results provided by VerifyBuddy are offered on a best-effort basis for general list-hygiene purposes. Please read this disclaimer carefully.

1. Verification is a probability, not a guarantee

Email verification predicts deliverability using signals such as syntax, DNS/MX records, disposable and role detection, live SMTP responses, and catch-all analysis. No verification service can guarantee with 100% certainty that an email will be delivered, opened, or that a mailbox is actively monitored.

2. Catch-all & unknown results

Some mail servers accept all addresses (catch-all) or block verification probes. In these cases we return a clearly-labelled catch-all or unknown result. These are inherently less certain and should be treated with caution.

3. No guarantee of deliverability or sender reputation

Cleaning your list reduces bounces and helps protect sender reputation, but deliverability also depends on factors outside our control — your sending infrastructure, content, authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), sending volume, and recipient engagement.

4. Not legal advice

Nothing on this site or in our compliance pages constitutes legal advice. You are responsible for ensuring your use of email and personal data complies with applicable laws (including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, and local regulations). Consult your own counsel where needed.

5. Acceptable use

VerifyBuddy must be used only for permission-based, lawful email programmes. See our Acceptable Use / Anti-Spam Policy.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VerifyBuddy is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from reliance on verification results. Our total liability is limited as set out in our Terms of Service.
